Does Simetric buy or sell connectivity from wireless carriers for the IoT devices?
No. But we are going to be analyzing your devices usage and rate plans on a daily basis so we will have insights to share with you to help you request the rate plans that are right for you.
Is there a consulting fee and / or a scope of work required to get started with Simetric?
No. We will consult with you to set up the initial instance of your portal. The length of time will vary and depend on the complexity of your needs.
How is your service priced?
We charge based on the number of SIMs/Devices that are active in your carrier’s IoT platform during a given month. We do have a nominal fee that we bill to set up the portal initially but this also includes your first months usage.
How do I buy your service and is there a contract?
We would like for you to purchase our service in the way that works best for you; we have partnerships with many companies that provide various telecom services today. If it makes sense (and you are agreeable), we may make an introduction to one of those companies. Or if you like, you can buy directly from Simetric. If you decide to buy directly, we will require a one year contract.
